While the Latrobe City and the wider region of Gippsland are not know as wine producing regions there are several boutique wineries producing unique, hand crafted wines. Discover award wining wines with cool climate characteristics and full fruit flavours as you chat with the winemakers themselves. Taste local produce while sampling your wine or dine in one of the wineries restaurants over looking the vineyard. Don�t feel like driving home, then stay overnight. Some of the wineries have on site accommodation, or you could stay in a local bed and breakfast. Gippsland and the Latrobe City certainly have a plethora of breathtaking scenery so why not go for a drive and enjoy local wines and produce in the heart of Gippsland.
