Morwell National Park      
Situated in the northern foothills of the Strzelecki Ranges, this park is small in size but of great value in preserving a remnant of the area’s original plant and animal life. A wide range of recreational activities is available including picnicking, bird watching, nature study and bushwalking.

Tarra Bulga National Park      
Hidden within the Strzelecki Ranges, Tarra-Bulga National Park features lush fern-filled gullies, giant Mountain Ash and ancient Myrtle Beech. Visitors have long enjoyed strolling along one of the nature walks or picnicking beside a shady fern-lined creek.

Baw Baw National Park      
Spectacular summer wildflower displays and snowy woodlands in winter highlight the changing beauty of Baw Baw National Park. Gnarled Snow Gums and Alpine heaths stretch
across the Baw Baw Plateau, while majestic tall forests grow within the surrounding river valleys. Whether shooting the rapids on the Thomson River or skiing a cross country trail, Baw Baw National Park offers a wealth of natural experiences.

Tyers Regional Park      
Covering 1,810 hectares of forest in the foothills of the north of the Latrobe Valley, Tyers Park features the spectacular Tyers Gorge where the river has carved a winding course between the steep forested slopes. With its diversity of wildflowers and the abundance of birdlife, Tyers Park is a favourite destination for naturalists and visitors discovering nature for the first time.

Moondarra State Park      
  Moondarra State Park takes in an area of 6,292 hectares of forest on the northern edge of the Latrobe Valley. The park protects a rich variety of native flora and fauna whilst providing for sightseeing, picnicking, camping and other activities.
